Lombrello is the ironic and experimental design studio, born in Andrea Forapani's living room. Forapani who lives and works in Milan, returned to the city in 2016 after years abroad.  Graduating from the Mendrisio Academy of Architecture in Switzerland and then working throughout Europe in Basel, Berlin and Paris, he returned with great vigour and a renewed appreciation for Italian craft. 

Conceived as an interior design atelier specialising in the hospitality sector, Lombrello move to include an offering of accessible and ironic luxury that is connected to our desire for small pleasures.  

With a playful and bold attitude towards design, coupled with a passion for art, Lombrello create unconventional and psychedelic chairs with a minimal silhouette where different colours, prints, textiles and accessories are the absolute protagonists. 

The original chair ‘Lombrella’ was presented at Salone del Mobile in 2018. Since, select artisans between Lombardy and Veneto, Italy, have helped to realise the studios vision - employing the classic Lombrella silhouette and experimenting with repetition to realise a collection of seating.            

 The collection, either in its purist form or its most avant-garde, is the perfect complement in residential spaces and commercial environments.
